  1. Download Keepass 2.X installation HERE
  2. Double-click installation files
  3. Select language and click OK
  4. Select I accept the agreement and then Next
  5. If you want to, change your installation folder and/or click on Next
  6. Select, what you want to install, or just leave it on Full installation and click Next
  7. Check Associate KeePass with the .kdbx extension and Create a desktop shortcut and click Next
  8. Click on Install and wait till it's installed
  9. Check Launch KeePass and click Finish


  1. When you open KeePass a window will pop-up. Click on Enable (Recomended) (Image Step 1)
  2. Click on New (Step 2)
  3. Select, where you want to store your file with password (I used my offline Google Drive folder (for example Documents/Google Drive), because it backed up to my Google Drive account and I can access it from anywhere) and click on Save (Image Step 3)
  4. Check Master Password and type new password for accessing your passwords. Then click on OK (Image Step 4)
  5. Here you can set up info about your password database. Only thing you need is name. Then click on OK' (Image Step 5)
  6. Now you have database for passwords created. Click on Internet and then on Add entry or Ctrl+I (Image Step 6)
  7. Enter name, username for account, password and you can enter url too. Then click on OK (Image Step 7)
  8. You should see your new entry. Don't forget to save it (Ctrl+S or File -> Save) (Image Step 8)
  9. Open browser and go to login page. Get back to KeePass, right-click entry and select Perform Auto-Type
  10. It will insert your username, password and log you in (Image Step 9)
